I had not previously studied Chinese prior to coming to YTU, but since starting the Mandarin course here, I have grown more confident in my ability to speak and understand the language.The course has undoubtedly been challenging but, after putting in the work in the classroom, I have really been able to see the results and feel increasingly comfortable using what I have learned in real-life situations. Through my studies at YTU I have been immersed in Chinese culture, building new friendships and discovering new places.

I will forever cherish the memories and friendships I’ve made at YTU. It has quite simply been an unforgettable experience.

来烟台大学之前，我没有学习过中文，但自从开始普通话课程，我对我的发言和理解能力变得更加自信了。毫无疑问，这无疑是具有挑战性的，但通过在课堂上的学习，我已经能真正体会到那种越来越舒服的感觉，把我的所学用在现实生活中。通过学习，在烟台大学里我一直沉浸在中国的文化中，建立新的友谊和发现新的地方。

我会永远珍惜我在烟台大学的回忆和友谊。它很简单却如此难忘。
